Role: Clinical Psychologist
Salary:  £45,240 to £61,859 pro rata (depending on skills, experience and qualifications) 
Permanent contact:  32 hours per week (ideally across 4 days, but open to discussion)
Location: Stoke-on-Trent Semi flexible remote working options can be discussed.

An award-winning Special Educational Needs (SEN) school group, renowned for its commitment to excellence and holistic approach, is excited to announce an opening for a Clinical Psychologist at their progressive Stoke-On-Trent site. This permanent role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a team dedicated to making a significant impact on the lives of children with diverse educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate the emotional, behavioral, and educational needs of students.
*Design and implement tailored intervention strategies to promote student well-being and academic achievement.
*Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive and effective learning environments.
*Provide crisis intervention and support for students facing acute challenges.
*Lead workshops and training sessions for staff and parents to enhance their understanding of psychological issues and supportive strategies.
*Engage in ongoing research and adopt evidence-based practices to further the school's objectives in special education.

Requirements for the Role:
*Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) or equivalent, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
*Experience working with children and adolescents, particularly within an SEN setting.
*Demonstrable knowledge of a range of psychological therapies and behavioral intervention techniques.
*Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
*Commitment to professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively in a team.
