Key Responsibilities:
*Supervise classes in the absence of the subject teacher, ensuring that pre-set work is completed to a high standard.
*Manage classroom behavior effectively, maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful learning environment.
*Provide assistance to students with their work by clarifying and explaining instructions.
*Ensure the accurate collection of resources needed for the day’s lessons and their appropriate use.
*Monitor and report on student behavior and progress during class sessions.
*Collaborate with teaching staff and contribute to the creation of a supportive learning environment.
*Handle any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures.

Requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred, though candidates with extensive experience in educational settings will also be considered.
*Previous experience in a teaching or classroom supervisory role within secondary education is highly desirable.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively managing classroom dynamics and engaging students.
*Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
*A commitment to professional development and maintaining high standards of teaching practice.
*Enhanced DBS check is mandatory prior to employment.
