Job Title: Maths Learning Support Assistant
Job Type: Full-time (Term Time Only)
Salary: £1400 - £1600, dependant on experience
Location: Tameside
Start Date: September 2023
Teaching
The successful candidate will work closely with the math department to support students who require extra assistance with their math studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide one-to-one or small group support to students who require extra assistance with their math studies
- To assist the math department in planning and delivering effective lessons
- To help create resources and materials that will aid students' learning
- To monitor and track students' progress, providing regular feedback to both students and teachers
- To liaise with parents and carers regarding students' progress
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Grade C (or equivalent) in GCSE Math
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A passion for helping students achieve their full potential
Previous experience working in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
